Advocate Siddharth Sah was appointed judge of Uttarakhand High Court.

Jagran Correspondent, Nainital: City resident advocate Siddharth Sah has been appointed judge of Uttarakhand High Court. The notification for the appointment of High Court judge has been issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice after the approval of the President.

The Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, on Monday appointed Siddharth Sah as Additional Judge of Uttarakhand High Court. According to this notification issued by the President, this appointment has been made using the powers provided under clause (1) of Article 224 of the Indian Constitution.

Sah was currently serving as an advocate in the Uttarakhand High Court. The information about his appointment has been officially sent to the secretariats of the Governor of Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister and the Chief Justice of the High Court.

The order signed by Jagannath Srinivasan, Joint Secretary to the Government of India, was issued from Jaisalmer House, New Delhi on January 5, 2026.

Born on September 4, 1971, Siddharth Sah completed his high school education from St. Joseph's College, Nainital and intermediate from Birla Vidya Mandir, Nainital, while he completed his graduation from Kirori Mal College, Delhi and from the Almora campus of Kumaon University, LA. His father M Lael Shah is also an advocate.

Sah's elder brother Dipanjan Sah is working in a company in Bangalore. His wife Deepti is a housewife and has two daughters. There is an atmosphere of happiness in the city after Advocate Sah became the judge of the High Court. High Court Bar Association President DCS Rawat, General Secretary Saurabh Adhikari, Senior Vice President Sushil Vashishtha along with former President Mahendra Pal, Bhuvnesh Joshi and other advocates have congratulated.
