Narnaul police has arrested one more accused in the cyber fraud case. Awakening

Acting on cyber fraud cases under the direction of Superintendent of Police Pooja Vashishtha, the police team of Sadar Police Station, Narnaul has arrested one more accused involved in cyber fraud. He has been identified as Munfaid, resident of Aminabad, Nuh. The accused was caught from Aminabad area and during interrogation, Rs 18,400 was recovered from him.

The accused was produced in the court and sent to judicial custody. In this case, the police had earlier arrested another accused Naushad, resident of Aminabad, Nuh. The accused had cheated a person resident of Guwani of Rs 34,000 in the name of selling buffalo. A person resident of Guwani, Narnaul lodged a complaint in Sadar police station, Narnaul that on November 13, he saw a buffalo on YouTube and talked about buying it. The buyer asked for Rs 5,000 for booking.

The complainant then transferred the money. On November 14, there was talk about sending the buffalo by vehicle, the total cost of which was fixed at Rs 70,000. The fraudsters took another ₹14,500 from the complainant by claiming that the GPS was faulty.

He demanded another ₹21,750 from the complainant, claiming there was a delay in delivery. When the complainant refused, they threatened to cancel the delivery. The complainant said that he was cheated of ₹34,000. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case and started action.

A police spokesperson said that the district police is continuously raising awareness about cyber crime and ways to prevent it through different means. Cyber ​​criminals upload photos and videos of good quality cows and buffaloes on internet media sites, and lure people to sell them at low prices. In photos/videos/advertisements/ads, good quality and high milk yielding buffaloes are often shown at low prices.

Upon contacting the phone number, the fraudsters win their trust by sending them photos of milking the buffalo, measuring the milk, photos of the dairy farm and videos of the buffalo being transported in the vehicle. Then cyber criminals trap you and make different excuses and trick you into transferring money to their account as advance.
