Jagran correspondent, Pithoragarh. The vicious warranty accused, who was absconding for one and a half years, has been arrested from Haldwani. The accused was constantly changing locations to dodge the police.
Warrants were issued by the court against the accused in more than a dozen cases related to fraud. He was evading arrest for a long time, dodging the police by constantly changing his locations.
On the instructions of Pithoragarh Superintendent of Police Rekha Yadav, a special campaign is being conducted across the district to arrest warranty accused. Under this campaign, the Kotwali police arrested the accused warranty Dharmesh Joshi, resident of Bhadelwara, from Kusumkheda, Haldwani.
Despite continuous warrants being issued by the court, continuous efforts were being made to search for the accused who was eluding the police. The police activated technical surveillance as well as manual information and deployed informers at possible locations. During investigation, information was received that the accused was hiding in Haldwani area. The accused has been brought to Pithoragarh and presented in the court.
