Jagran correspondent, Bokaro. Taking an important initiative towards promoting quality and inclusive education in Jharkhand, a national level school will be established in Bokaro on the lines of KISS (Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences) Bhubaneswar. This school is proposed in BSL area.
This initiative is being taken by the Deputy Commissioner on the instructions of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. In this regard, an important meeting was organized on Monday in Bokaro Niwas Auditorium in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha.
During the meeting, various points related to the establishment of the school, land availability, infrastructure and operation were discussed in detail. During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that the Chief Minister has a clear and far-sighted vision that real development of Jharkhand is possible only when our tribal, rural and deprived class children get quality education, safe residential facilities, skill-based training and the opportunity to become self-reliant. Education is not just literacy but also a powerful medium of life development.
BSL will identify 25-30 acres of land
In the meeting, BSL Director in-charge Priya Ranjan said that BSL management will provide full cooperation for the establishment of the school. He agreed that BSL will do the work of identifying 25 to 30 acres of land in Bokaro Steel City area. So that better educational and residential facilities can be provided to the students.
There will be a study trip to KISS Bhubaneswar
In order to understand the outline, educational model and operational system of the school, a joint team of district administration and BSL will conduct a study trip to KISS Bhubaneswar in the first week of February. Through this study tour, a concrete action plan will be prepared to implement the successful model there in Bokaro.
The scheme will prove to be a milestone in the field of education
The proposed national level school will prove to be a milestone in the field of education not only for Bokaro but for the entire Jharkhand. With this, especially the students of deprived and tribal class will get better opportunities for quality education, housing, sports and overall development.
Modern educational buildings will be constructed
State-of-the-art educational buildings will be constructed in the proposed school campus, which will include smart classrooms, science laboratories, computer labs, digital learning centres, libraries and research-resource centres. The buildings will be designed in such a way that students can get better educational environment. This school will be completely residential in nature. Safe and well-maintained hostel buildings will be constructed for the students.
This campus will become a strong base in the field of education
The strong and modern emotional structure of the proposed school will provide national level educational facilities to the students of Bokaro and Jharkhand. This campus will become a strong base for education, housing and all-round development, especially for the students of the deprived and tribal communities.
On this occasion, KISS-KIIT Director Punit Pradhan, Deputy Development Commissioner Shatabdi Mazumdar, Additional Collector Mohd. Mumtaz Ansari, SDO Chas Pranjal Dhanda, ED HR Rajshree, CGM Kundan Kumar, District Public Relations Officer Ravi Kumar, District Education Officer Jagarnath Lohra, District Education Superintendent Atul Kumar Choubey and others were present.
