UPSC NDA 1 2026
Education Desk, New Delhi. There is big news for the students who have applied for the National Defense Academy and Naval Academy examination (UPSC NDA NA 1 2026). Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a notification for this exam and announced the date and shift timing of the exam. According to the notification, the examination will be conducted in 2 shifts on 12 April 2026.

According to the notification issued by UPSC, the exam will be held on April 12. Mathematics paper (Subject Code 1) will be conducted in the first shift for which the timing will be from 10 am to 12:30 pm. General Ability Test paper (Subject Code 2) will be conducted in the second shift for which the timing will be from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
Admit card will be released a few days before the exam
The admit cards of the candidates who have applied for the examination on behalf of UPSC will be made available for download on the official website through online medium a few days before the examination date. Admit cards will not be sent personally to any candidate. Candidates must carry the admit card and an original valid identity card with them to the center on the day of the exam. Without hall ticket and ID card, you will be barred from appearing in the exam.
Mathematics paper will be conducted in the first shift of UPSC NDA NA recruitment in which questions will be asked from the candidates for 300 marks. There will be General Ability Test in the second shift examination which will be for 600 marks. The candidates who are successful in this stage will qualify for interview. The interview will be for total 900 marks.
A total of 394 vacancies will be appointed through this recruitment examination. Under NDA, there will be recruitment for 208 posts in Army, 42 in NAVY, 92 in Air Force Flying, 18 in Air Force Ground Duty (Tech), 10 in Air Force Ground Duty (Non Tech) and 24 in Naval Academy.
