Digital Desk, Patna. Rohini Acharya, daughter of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, has made serious allegations against Bihar Police regarding the case of suspicious death of a student in Shambhu Girls Hostel.

By sharing a scathing post addressed to the Chief Minister on social media, he has raised questions on the investigation of this entire matter.

Rohini Acharya has said that just as the daughters could not get justice in the Muzaffarpur Girls Home (Mahapap) incident during the reign of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, in the same way, there is no possibility of getting justice in the case of the daughter who was brutally murdered after rape in Shambhu Girls Hostel.

In her post addressed to the Chief Minister, Rohini Acharya wrote that from the day of the incident till now, the attitude of the police investigation has been very suspicious, which makes it clear that the government and the police are trying to save someone.

Questions raised on police investigation

He alleged that Patna Police denied the incident of rape even before the postmortem report came, whereas this is against the basic principles of the investigation process.

Along with this, he said that the incident site was not sealed for several days, due to which the accused got full opportunity to tamper with the evidence and evidence.

Rohini Acharya also alleged that the people under suspicion in the case, the accused told by the family members and the doctors with dubious roles were neither arrested nor were they rigorously interrogated.

He claimed in his post that the family members of the deceased were pressurized by the lady police station head and the hostel operator to hush up the matter by taking money. Besides, allegations were also made of unnecessarily harassing the victim's family in the name of SIT investigation.

Rohini also said that now such reports are coming out in which it is being claimed that the DGP told the family that the rumor of rape is wrong and it is a case of suicide.

Rohini Acharya says that such statements not only increase the pain of the victim's family, but also send a message of giving "safe passage" to those who carried out this heinous and disgusting incident.

He raised the question that when questions are being raised on the fairness of investigation in such cases, how can the safety and justice of daughters be guaranteed in Bihar.
