Nephew Shoots Ex-army Uncle Over Land Dispute In Orai, Referred To Jhansi

Jagran correspondent, Orai. Due to land and old rivalry, the nephew, along with some friends from the village, surrounded the uncle, a retired soldier, on the way while returning from the farm house at around 10 pm. After an altercation, the nephew fired the pistol at the uncle due to which the bullet entered his stomach, due to which he fell down bleeding.

After the shooting, all the accused fled from the spot. The incident took place near village Pajauniya of Rendhar police station area. The injured soldier informed his son through mobile, after which he was referred to the Medical College and from there to Jhansi for treatment.

CO Ambuj Yadav said that the complaint has not been received yet. A case will be registered and the accused will be arrested soon. There was a dispute between the two sides in 2021 also in which people from both the sides went to jail.

Nephew shoots uncle over old land dispute

Retired soldier Godhan Bhadauria, resident of village Pajauniya of Rendhar police station area, was going home from his farm house on Saturday night at around 10 pm on a bike. On the way, his Sumit Singh Bhadauria and Sanjay Singh Bhadauria of the village along with some friends stopped him. When the accused first wanted to assault him over a land dispute, he clashed with the accused. After this, nephew Sumit shot uncle with the pistol which hit him in the stomach, due to which he fell bleeding on the spot.

Referred to Medical College Jhansi in critical condition

After the shooting, all the accused fled from the spot. The injured soldier informed his son about the incident over phone. Hearing the sound of gunshot, nearby people and relatives reached the spot. He sent the injured soldier to the Government Medical College for treatment and also informed the police. The injured soldier is in critical condition and has been referred to the Medical College, Jhansi after first aid.

Attacked due to old rivalry

Arvind Singh Bhadauria, son of the injured soldier, told that his uncle's son Sumit and Sanjay Singh of the village had been pressurizing his father for a long time regarding land and old family rivalry. Even before this, the accused had attacked his father and younger brother. In which those people had a narrow escape. As soon as information about the incident was received, Rendhar police station and CO Ambuj Yadav reached the spot and investigated.

CO Ambuj Yadav said that the matter is being investigated. No complaint has been received yet. As soon as the complaint is received, a case will be registered and the accused will be arrested.
