Jagran correspondent, Prayagraj. The new circle rate will be implemented in the district from Monday. DM Manish Kumar Verma gave approval for this on Saturday. Now the registration of properties will be done at the new circle rate only. According to this, the circle rate in the district has been increased by five to 30 percent.
The circle rate has been increased by maximum 30 percent in Naini, Jhunsi, Phaphamau and Jhalwa areas. Whereas in Civil Lines, Ashok Nagar, Georgetown, Tagore Town, Mumfordganj areas the circle rate has increased by 15 percent. In fact, the circle rates in these areas were increased significantly in the year 2022 itself. The circle rate has been increased in the district after almost three years.
The most important rules have been simplified in the new circle rate, so that any person will be able to evaluate his property on his own. Along with this, arrangements have also been made for valuation of hotels, restaurants, bars, cinema halls, warehouses, cold stores, banquet halls, dhabas, resorts, party lawns in the new circle rate. Earlier there was no system for separate valuation of these properties.
AIG Stamp Rakesh Chandra said that the most important thing is that relief has been given in the registry of non-agricultural land of large area. Relief in assessment rates has been given on registration of non-agricultural land more than 500 square meters. 15 percent less stamp will have to be paid on non-agricultural land of five hundred to one thousand square meters and 20 percent less stamp will have to be paid on non-agricultural land of one thousand to two thousand square meters. AIG Stamp said that the new circle rate will increase the revenue.
The proposals of the district level committee formed for the new circle rate have been approved. The new circle rate will come into effect from Monday. Now the registration of all properties will be as per the new circle rate.
