Jagran correspondent, Unnao. His elder daughter Aishwarya, who has been continuously appealing on the internet media to not do politics in this case by declaring her father Kuldeep Singh Sengar, accused in the Makhi rape case, innocent with evidence, has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. In which he has demanded to ensure the safety of the girl who has accused her father and her family.
Said that if the girl who claimed to be the victim did something or something happened to her, then the entire blame would fall on her father Kuldeep Singh Sengar. Aishwarya has also tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CRPF and Delhi Police by sharing the letter on her handle through X. Aishwarya wrote in the letter that in the year 2018, the complainant girl had attempted self-immolation in front of the Chief Minister's residence.
Only after this, under media pressure, Kuldeep Sengar was arrested. Similarly, during the hearing of this case, the car of the girl who complained was damaged in an accident in Rae Bareli. After the accident, father Kuldeep Singh Sengar was held responsible. However, during investigation it turned out to be an accident and the Delhi court acquitted the father.
Even after this, the girl who claimed to be the victim and the people who came in her support, still hold her father responsible for the accident. This has limited our right to a fair hearing. Not only this, if any decision comes which gives us relief, it becomes the cause of protests and mass movements.
Aishwarya has requested in the letter that adequate and continuous security should be provided to the complainant and his family. The responsibility for their safety should be clearly ensured by the state, so that the possibility of any untoward incident can be completely eliminated. So that no innocent person is again made the target of allegations. His sentiments were also visible in the letter. Wrote that she is writing this letter with a request as a citizen, a daughter and a member of the victim's family. This should be taken seriously.
