Newly Married Woman Dies Under Suspicious Circumstances In Dubai, Husband Accused Of Murder; Case Registered

Jagran correspondent, Lucknow. Aiman ​​Khan, a 26-year-old married woman, resident of Adarsh ​​Vihar Colony, Chinhat, died under suspicious circumstances in Jeddah city of Dubai on December 18. She lived in Dubai with her husband Aamir. His body was brought to Lucknow after completing the legal process on Tuesday. The father has filed a complaint in Chinhat police station against son-in-law Aamir, his brother and two sisters-in-law for harassing, demanding dowry and murdering the daughter. Sher Ali Khan, resident of Adarsh ​​Vihar Colony, is a sub-inspector in the fire department. According to Sher Ali, he married his software engineer daughter Aiman ​​with Aamir, a resident of Basan Tola, Rae Bareli, on April 10, 2025. In the marriage, she gave dowry worth lakhs of rupees, jewellery, cash and other items.

It is alleged that Aamir had asked for an Innova car as dowry but he gave another car in his name as dowry. When Aiman ​​went to her in-laws' house, Aamir got angry over the car issue and quarreled with her and broke her daughter's phone. On April 29, Aamir went to Dubai and then called his daughter in June. In Dubai, Aamir, his brother Umair and their two brothers-in-law beat up the daughter over dowry and demanded Rs 20 lakh. When Aiman ​​told at his home, his father had said that he would give the money by selling the land.

When Aiman ​​came to Lucknow in October, she told the whole story at home. Despite the family talking to Aamir, there was no improvement. On October 19, the daughter again went to Dubai on the call of the accused. The father says that when he talked to the daughter on December 17, she was upset. She wanted to come to India but her son-in-law and his family had forcibly kept her passport with them.

Called the daughter several times on December 18 but did not get any response. Called son-in-law and his brother but the phone was not received. After this, Sher Ali called his friend Faizan and sent him to his daughter's house, when Faizan informed him about his daughter's death. After completing the legal process, Aiman's body was brought to Lucknow on Tuesday. The father has filed a complaint accusing Aamir and his family members of committing murder by hanging themselves with a fan. Inspector Dinesh Chandra Mishra said that a complaint has been received and the cause of death will become clear in the post-mortem. The incident site is outside Chinhat, hence investigation will be done on the basis of legal opinion.
