Now Ration Card Holders Will Get Coarse Grains, Shops In 12 Blocks Of Rae Bareli Have Been Identified In The First Phase.

For this, now coarse grains will also be made available to the eligible household card holders at the quota shops marked with government ration. There are 453404 eligible household card holders in the district. In the first phase, distribution will be done in shops of 12 blocks.

Along with allotment of prescribed quantity of coarse grains to the identified shops, instructions have been issued as to the form in which it is to be distributed. Jowar will be distributed in the form of coarse grains. This distribution will be affected in the month of March.

They will get coarse grains

There are also 18 blocks and one municipality in the district. In the first phase, coarse grains will be available in Amawan, Dih, Unchahar, Salon, Chhatoh, Harchandpur, Maharajganj, Satavn, Rahi, Jagatpur, Rahania and Shivgarh. Whereas it will not be distributed in six blocks and cities including Kheeron, Gaura, Bachhrawan Lalganj, Sareni and Dalmau.

According to Antyodaya and eligible household units mentioned on the portal of District Supply Department, the allocation of jowar in the form of coarse grain has been released for the month of March. Five kilos of ration is available per unit, which includes two kilos of wheat and three kilos of rice, now instead of this, two kilos of wheat, one kilo of rice and two kilos of jowar will be available.

Wheat and rice will be distributed in other shops as before. 22576 quintals of jowar have been allocated for this distribution. District Supply Officer Ubaidur Rahman said that the government has brought this scheme with the intention of promoting coarse grains. Under this, jowar will be given in the form of coarse grains in March. In the first phase, distribution will be done in 12 blocks.
