On the occasion of Republic Day, the Municipal Corporation will organize a camp “Corporation Administration at your Doorstep” with the aim of providing basic municipal services to the common citizens. In this regard, the newly appointed Municipal Commissioner Kislay Kushwaha gave sweeping instructions on the very second day of assuming command. These camps will be organized in all the wards of the corporation area from 19th to 23rd January.
In the camp, services related to people's holding tax collection, property tax assessment, tax recovery, name transfer and birth-death certificates will be provided. To provide services to maximum beneficiaries, tax supervisors and tax collectors of Lazicoop Private Limited have been deputed ward wise.
Its objective will be to provide basic city services to the common citizens at one place. With this, people will not have to visit the Municipal Corporation office. The corporation management has appealed to the public representatives for cooperation in determining the site of the camp and making it successful.
The Municipal Commissioner has instructed all the tax supervisors to ensure recovery of maximum holding tax by being present in the camp and to verify and collect the applications related to transfer of name and birth and death. At the same time, tax supervisors Randhir Kumar and Mithilesh Kumar Singh have been instructed to prepare ward-wise report of daily recovery and make it available to the Municipal Commissioner through the City Manager.
The Project Manager of LajiCup has been given the responsibility of ensuring wide publicity through ward wise miking, banners and posters to disseminate information about the scheme to the general public. City Manager Asgar Ali has been appointed the nodal officer of this program.
