Pipeline work on platforms one and two has been completed. The work of laying pipeline on three is going on in the final stages.
More than 36 trains pass through the junction every day. Passengers will get relief from the availability of water in the coach. After its operation, trains will be freed from having to go to the washing line to fill water.

Patna Kota Express, Patna Indore Express, Shramjeevi Superfast, Sadbhavana Express, Chhapra Lokmanya Tilak Antyodaya Express, Harihar Express, Ahmedabad Sultanpur Superfast, Tulsi Express, Varanasi Patna Howrah Superfast, Ayodhya Cantt Prayagraj Sangam MEMU, Basti Prayagraj Manwar Sangam Express and Durg Nautanwa Express pass through.
At the same time, trains like Chandigarh Patliputra Express, Varanasi Jammu Tawi Begumpura Superfast, Malda Town Delhi Farakka Express, Ghazipur City Shrimata Vaishnodavi Katra Express etc. pass through the junction daily. Water will be available on the platform in the coaches of these trains.
Station Superintendent BS Meena said that the work of laying pipeline at number three is going on. The work of laying pipeline on platforms one and two has been completed.
