Jagran correspondent, Dhanbad. A newborn girl being treated at Asrafi Hospital, Dhanbad, was abandoned by her relatives. The relatives of the girl, who was being treated on a ventilator in the ICU, expressed their inability to treat her and informed the hospital management about abandoning her.
The hospital management has informed the Child Welfare Committee- CWC and the police of Dhanbad police station. Besides, a request has also been made to take the girl to another hospital for better treatment.
According to the application given by the hospital management, the girl was born on January 9. The girl has been seriously ill since birth. For this reason he has been kept on ventilator in NICU.
The hospital management was asking to take the girl to another hospital for better treatment. The relative refused. The girl's grandfather wrote to the hospital management that he could not afford the girl's treatment. Left the hospital on 16th January and since then no one has come to the hospital.
