Communication partner, Jamui. Jamui District and Additional Sessions Judge Pancham Pawan Kumar, in an important 80-page decision, sentenced the murdered wife and her fiance to life imprisonment and also imposed a fine of Rs 30,000 each. In this gruesome murder case, he was sentenced on the testimony of the parents of the deceased and the in-laws and father-in-law of the murdered wife.

Ashok Yadav, resident of Baratand village of Sono police station, was married to Seema Devi 10-15 years ago. After marriage, they had two sons of 8 and 6 years, then one day in Nahar, she caught sight of a mason and established an illicit relationship with him. Which resulted in the tragic death of Seema's husband Ashok Yadav.

Seema Devi has told this entire thing in her confession statement to the police. Even when the sentence was being pronounced in the court, there was no expression of guilt on Seema Devi's face and she also did not show any concern or pain for her two innocent sons.

Ashok Yadav's father Mahendra Yadav had filed a case naming his wife Seema Devi as an accused in relation to this incident which took place around 1.30 am on 5-6 October 2023. In which he had told that while he was sleeping in his room after having dinner, at 1:30 in the night he heard a noise coming from Ashok Yadav's room and when he reached there, Ashok Yadav was dead and his wife was standing nearby.

During the police investigation, Seema Devi was arrested and when she was raided, on the basis of what she told the police in detail about the entire incident, her lover Pintu Mandal, son of Ram Kishun Mandal, resident of Sair village of Jhajha police station, who works as a mason, was also arrested. Since then the court did not grant bail to both of them. They remained in jail continuously. Where on Thursday both were sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment.

In his 80-page judgment, youth ADJ Pancham Pawan Kumar has sentenced both the accused after hearing the statements of all the prosecution evidence witnesses in detail.

On behalf of the government, senior prosecutor Chandrabhanu Singh and independent advocate Sitaram Singh and on behalf of the defense, advocates Satyajit Kumar and Sanjay Kumar presented their arguments and presented evidence. This story of a wife blinded by an illegitimate affair killing her husband and ruining the lives of her two innocent children, an 8 and a 6 year old son, is quite ludicrous.

About which Seema Devi has told in detail that after her marriage with Ashok Yadav, she had two sons and after about 10-15 years, when she went to her village, she exchanged numbers with a mason working there, both of them started loving each other and this love turned into an illicit relationship. Where there were often disputes between husband and wife regarding this relationship.

Then she, along with her lover, mason Pintu Mandal, planned to murder her husband and called him near her house at 10:00 pm on 5 October 2023 and hid him in the bush. Around 1:00 in the night, after making him enter their house and pointing towards her husband who was sleeping deeply, Pintu Mandal attacked Ashok Yadav with an ax in his hand. Due to which his throat got cut and he started writhing. Then both of them killed him by hitting him on the face with the second blow of the axe.

Both of them picked him up from the bed and threw him outside the house and then hit him on the head with an axe, and were convinced that he was dead. They started making noise and Pintu Mandal ran away from there.
