Digital Desk, New Delhi. Pakistan has once again been not only exposed but also embarrassed on the global stage as it has acknowledged the impact of the strategic and precision strikes carried out by India in May.

India's prompt and precise retaliatory military action against Pakistan under Operation Sindoor in retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack not only left the neighboring country shaken from a strategic point of view, but its top leadership was also extremely frightened.

There was such fear in Pakistan that President Asif Ali Zardari was advised to take shelter in a bunker. Zardari himself confirmed this in a program. He admitted on Saturday that his military secretary had advised him to immediately go into a bunker for safety during New Delhi's retaliatory attacks after tensions escalated in May. This highlights the fear prevalent in Pakistan's top leadership during the Indian military action.

Indian drone caused damage to military installation

Dar Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also confirmed during the year-end press briefing on Saturday that India had targeted their Noor Khan Air Base in Chakala, Rawalpindi, causing damage to their military installations and injuring the personnel deployed there.

He said India had sent several drones into Pakistani territory within 36 hours and one drone caused damage to a military installation which highlights the scale and precision of the operation. The External Affairs Minister claimed that they (India) sent drones towards Pakistan. At least 80 drones were dispatched in 36 hours, we were successful in intercepting 79 out of 80 drones, and only one drone caused damage to the military installation and personnel were also injured in the attack.

Nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Ghulam Kashmir were also destroyed. With this comment, Dar acknowledged the strategic action taken by India on Pakistani military bases in May. 'Indian armed forces launched highly accurate strikes on Pakistani military targets' in its response to the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 civilians.

Pakistani Air Force base Noor Khan located in Chaklal was heavily damaged. Satellite images show damage to four Pakistani air bases including Rawalpindi-based Noor Khan Air Force, Sargodha-based PAF Base Mushaf, Bholari Air Force and Jacobabad-based PAF Base Shahbaz. Nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and occupied Jammu and Kashmir were also demolished.

They told me four days in advance that there was going to be a war.

'If martyrdom has to happen, it will happen here, because leaders do not die in bunkers' Despite warnings from Zardari's military secretary, the Pakistani President boasted that he had refused to go into the bunker. “My military secretary was there,” he said. He came to me and said, 'Sir, the war has started.' In fact, I had told them four days in advance that there was going to be a war. But he came to me and said, 'Sir, let's go to the bunkers.' I said, 'If martyrdom has to happen, it will happen here. Leaders do not die in bunkers. They die on the battlefield. They don't die sitting in bunkers'. (With inputs from news agency ANI)
