Anger in Pal and Baghel communities against the demolition of Ahilyabai Holkar's statue by the Municipal Corporation.

There is anger in the Pal and Baghel community against the demolition of the statue of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar at Manikarnika Ghat in Banaras by the Municipal Corporation. On Sunday, Holkar Sena organized a meeting in Begumabad village of Jewar in honor of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar. Expressing anger over this action of the Municipal Corporation, he condemned it and demanded the re-construction of the statue.
Ahilyabai Holkar Sena official said that this incident has created a huge anger not only in the district but also among the descendants of Baghel and Pal community spread all over the world. The demolition of the statue of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar at Manikarnika Ghat in Varanasi by the Municipal Corporation is a highly condemnable act which the society will never forgive.
Many dignitaries were present in the meeting
President Ramu Dhangar Holkar from Western Uttar Pradesh, Gautam Budh Nagar District President Bobby Baghel, Holkar Sena Ramesh Baghel, District President Kisan Congress Balram Baghel, District Convenor Holkar Sena Govind Baghel, District Vice President Ravi Baghel, Rakesh Baghel, Ramveer, Yuvraj Baghel, Bijender Baghel etc. were present in the protest meeting.
