Jagran correspondent, Palwal. A case of assault has come to light after a complaint was made to the police in Buraka village. The accused surrounded a girl on the road and when she protested, they attacked the women of her family with sharp weapons. Police have registered a case against 8 named accused in this case.
In the complaint given to the police, the victim Ashraf, resident of Buraka, told that on the morning of 28 December, his daughter Sanna was going to the fields. On the way, Aijaz and Altaf from the same village stopped him due to old rivalry and misbehaved with him. When the girl raised an alarm, her aunt Mubina reached the spot to save her.

It is alleged that Mubina, who came to save the girl, was attacked by Aijaz, Jameel, Idris, Altaf, Fakru, Lucan, Ruksina and Anisha together. The attackers used sharp weapons, causing serious injuries to Mubina. Hearing the noise, the villagers gathered at the spot, seeing which the accused ran away threatening to kill them.
The victim's side says that the accused had also assaulted and misbehaved with other members of her family a day before (27 December), a complaint about which was given in the police station. Angered by this complaint, the accused committed this crime with the intention of taking revenge.
