The scheduled arrival time of this train at Jamalpur railway station is 9:29 am, but on Wednesday this train reached platform number one at 12:30 pm with a delay of about three hours. Daily commuters Shantanu Raj, Vikas Kumar Mandal, Angad Gupta and Suman Kumar told that they go to Sultanganj every day for job and travel in Patna-Dumka Express by making a monthly pass. If the train runs on time then they reach office on time, but due to constant delays they have to face a lot of difficulty.
Passengers said that after this train, there is delay in going to Danapur-Sahibganj Intercity, due to which the whole day's work gets affected. This train has often been running late for the last several days. Employed people, students and other travelers are all affected by this. He appealed to the railway officials to establish coordination and time bound train operations, so that passengers do not have to face unnecessary trouble.
