Jagran correspondent, Dhanbad. Due to non-interlocking work being done in Ranchi Railway Division, changes have been made in the operation of many trains from December 31 to January 7. During this period, passengers will have to face a lot of trouble, especially those traveling between Patna to Ranchi and Godda to Ranchi. According to the information received from the Railways, 18619 Ranchi-Godda Express will run from Namkum station instead of Ranchi during this period. Meanwhile, on the return journey, 18620 Godda-Ranchi Express will also be operated up to Namkum instead of Ranchi.

Apart from this, 12365 Patna-Ranchi Janshatabdi Express will also be run up to Namkum station instead of Ranchi. At the same time, 12366 Ranchi-Patna Jan Shatabdi Express will also be operated from Namkum only. Railways has clarified that many trains will remain canceled between Namkum and Ranchi during this period. In such a situation, passengers traveling to Ranchi will have to resort to alternative means. Especially the problems of passengers traveling between Patna and Ranchi will increase significantly, because this route is one of the busiest railway routes. Passengers of Godda-Ranchi Express will also have to face difficulties. This train goes to Ranchi via Dhanbad via Bhagalpur in Bihar and is considered important for the passengers of Jharkhand and Bihar. The train not reaching Ranchi will affect the plans of the passengers. The Railway Administration has appealed to the passengers to get information about the status of the train before the journey and go on the journey only after making alternative arrangements.
