On Thursday morning at around 6.30 am near Jarar Manik village on the Sonughat-Barhaj road, miscreants riding a bike attacked a pickup driver who was going to make gas home delivery, stabbed him and injured him and looted Rs 11,000. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area due to the incident.
According to the police, Babban Yadav, son of Ramnaresh Yadav, resident of village Marhwa police station Khukhundu, does home delivery of gas cylinders in a pickup vehicle in Barhaj Gas Service. He told in the complaint given to the police that he was going to buy a gas cylinder on Thursday morning.
In front of Bhaluani, near the warehouse of Jaljeevan Mission, some unknown youth signaled to stop the vehicle. When the vehicle was not stopped, the miscreants pelted stones and broke the glass of the pickup. After this, about half a dozen miscreants riding on three bikes overtook and parked the bike in front of the pickup and stopped the vehicle.

As soon as the vehicle stopped, the miscreants pulled the driver from the vehicle, beat him up and injured him with a knife. After this, they took out about Rs 11 thousand from his pocket and ran away.
Police reached the information and sent the injured to PHC Bhaluani for first aid, where he is undergoing treatment. Police Station Head Pradeep Pandey said that on the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered and investigation has been started. The footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is also being scrutinized.
