10 to 20 percent deduction from the salaries of 30 Panchayat employment servants and rural housing assistants for six months.

Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural, the verification work of eligible families identified in the survey conducted through Awas Plus portal was reviewed at the district level. During the review, it was found that some of the personnel nominated for verification work did not discharge their responsibilities at the expected level, which hindered the smooth and timely implementation of the scheme.
Taking the above fact seriously, disciplinary action has been taken by Deputy Development Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Singh against the concerned personnel. In case of unsatisfactory performance in the verification work, it has been decided to reduce the basic honorarium of 30 nominated checkers (Panchayat Rojgar Sevak and Gramin Awas Sahayak) by 10 percent to 20 percent for a period of six months.
Also, all the concerned personnel have been clearly warned that in future, if any kind of negligence, indifference or laxity is found in the discharge of verification work or other responsibilities, then more strict action will be taken against them, which may also include action of termination of the contract.
15 to 25 percent reduction in honorarium of 27 PRS for six months
The work of e-KYC of active job card holders under Vikas Bharat-Employment and Livelihood Guarantee Mission (Rural) was reviewed at the district level. During the review, it was found that some Panchayat employment servants did not follow the required seriousness and responsibility in this important work, due to which the achievement of e-KYC verification was unsatisfactory.
Taking the said negligence seriously, disciplinary action has been taken by Deputy Development Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Singh against the concerned Panchayat employment servants. It has been decided to reduce the basic honorarium of 27 Panchayat Rozgar Sevaks by 15 percent to 25 percent for a period of six months for their poor performance in e-KYC verification work.
Also, a strict warning has been given to all the concerned employees that in future, if any kind of negligence, indifference or laxity is found in discharging the responsibilities assigned under the Vikas Bharat – Employment and Livelihood Guarantee Mission (Rural), then more strict action will be taken against them, which will also include the action of terminating the contract.
