Poisonous Substance Given To Cows In Flour Mill In Gurdaspur, Two Died; Case Registered Against Unknown Person

Mischievous elements gave poisonous substance to cows in flour packets, two died.

Dialogue Associate, Dera Baba Nanak. In Shahpur Goraya Patti Jhanggian village under Police Station Kartarpur Corridor, two cows died due to some poisonous substance being mixed in the wheat flour by miscreants while the condition of one cow is critical.

Village cattle rearer Gurmeet Singh said that when he went to the mansion on Friday morning to see the animals, two of his cows were found dead while the condition of one was critical. He told that recently he had bought some cows.

Of these, the price of one milch cow was Rs 75 thousand and the price of the other pregnant cow was Rs 65 thousand. He told that some mischievous elements have killed these two cows by putting some poisonous substance in the flour powder.

On the other hand, SHO Gurdarshan Singh of Kartarpur Corridor police station has taken stock of the spot after the incident. He said that based on the statements of cattle rearer Gurmeet Singh, a case has been registered against unknown people. He said that the post-mortem of the dead animals will be conducted by forming a board on behalf of the doctors of the Animal Husbandry Department.
