SSP Manikant Mishra told that on May 15, 2025, Baljit Singh, son of Sola Singh, resident of village Calcutta, Gadarpur police station, district Udham Singh Nagar, had given a complaint in Gadarpur police station, saying that with the intention of killing his brother Balwinder Singh, Karnail Singh alias Pintu Rodhi and Gurbaz Singh alias Manu, son of Pritam Singh beat him up and fired from the pistol, due to which he got injured. Was.

In the case, the police had registered an FIR against Karnail Singh alias Pintu Rodhi and Gurbaz Singh alias Manu. The investigation was handed over to SI Mukesh Mishra. Due to non-arrest, the police had announced a reward of Rs 25 thousand on Gurbaz Singh.

SSP Manikant Mishra said that information was received on Wednesday night that Gurbaj Singh was in Gularbhoj area. On this, Gadarpur police station and Gularbhoj outpost police reached the spot. Seeing the police, Gurbaz Singh alias Manu opened fire on the police team. Retaliating, the police also opened fire. Due to which a bullet hit Gurbaz's leg and he got injured. The police caught him. A pistol was also recovered from him. Later the police brought him to the district hospital for treatment in injured condition and admitted him.

The police station chief has also been fired upon

SSP Manikant Mishra said that Gurbaz Singh alias Madu is a criminal carrying a reward of Rs 25 thousand from Gadarpur police station. His hobby is to throw fire at the public. There is fear of him among the people in the area. In the year 2019, fire was also fired on the then police station chief in Nanakmatta police station with the intention of killing him.

17 FIRs registered in Udham Singh Nagar and UP

SSP Manikant Mishra said that a total of 17 FIRs were registered against Gurbaz Singh in Gadarpur police station, Dineshpur police station, Bajpur police station, Nanakmatta police station and Rampur police station in Milakkhanam district of Uttar Pradesh. In which many criminal cases including attempt to murder, robbery, highway robbery, rebellion are registered. In this, two FIRs were registered in Gadarpur in the year 2017, four in 2021, one in 2022 and one in 2025. In 2017, two FIRs were registered in Dineshpur, one in Bazpur, three in Nanakmatta and two in Milak Khanum district Rampur.
