The CJM court acquitted two criminals due to non-appearance of witnesses against the constables in the case of their escape while being taken to jail after being produced before the Hathras Juvenile Justice Board. Many cases are registered against both of them. The report of this matter was lodged in the Civil Line police station by RI Sureshpal Singh of Hathras Police Line. In which it was said that on 23 November 2019, two constables of Hathras Police Line, Afroz Khan and Firoz Khan, had brought two criminals Sagir of Hathras Hasayan of Dubai and Mukesh alias Chhotu of Hathras Sadabad, Samadpur of Hathras Sadabad and Hal Agra Sikandra, in a government vehicle.
Two criminals escaped while being taken to jail after appearing before Hathras Juvenile Justice Board.
Constable Mahipal was driving the vehicle. Both the criminals were being taken back to jail after appearing in the Juvenile Justice Board, Hathras. On the way, due to the negligence of the two constables Afroz and Firoz, both the criminals ran away. Both were suspended. After the chargesheet, its trial started in the CJM court in 2021.
Accused Firoz and Afroz appeared in the court, but the plaintiff and no other witnesses were presented at the police level. Summons warrants to produce him were also served. All these reports were presented in the court. On this basis, the court acquitted both, ending the prosecution's opportunity to present evidence and giving them the benefit of doubt.
