District Town Planner Enforcement (DTPE) team took sealing action on illegal construction.

Dialogue Associate, New Gurugram. The District Town Planner Enforcement (DTPE) team of the Town and Country Planning Department has taken sealing action on house number B-9/2 in B Block, DLF Phase-I, regarding illegal construction and activities contrary to the rules. According to the department, the stilt parking, first floor and second floor of the house were sealed, whereas there were complaints of violation of commercial use and construction rules in the stilt area.

According to the information, a complaint was lodged on the CM Window in this matter. It was reported that paint buckets and other items were kept on a large scale in the stilt parking lot, which could pose a security risk. Apart from this, it was also said that illegal construction was being done in the stilt area and activities were being conducted against the rules in the residential building.

It was also feared in the complaint that business related to duplicate paint was being conducted here. Show cause notice and restoration orders were issued by the department to the concerned landlord/violator. In the absence of satisfactory response or compliance, the DTPE team reached the spot and sealed the stilt parking, first floor and second floor.

It was told that immediately after sealing, an incident of seal breaking also came to light. On this, the DTPE office has taken a strict stand against the violator and has written a letter to the enforcement police station and sent a recommendation to register an FIR.

Stilt parking and upper floors were sealed due to violation of rules in the building. Breaking the seal is a serious crime, now it has been recommended to register an FIR against the concerned party and action will continue in future also. - Amit Madholia, DTPE
