Police From Four Police Stations Engaged In Search Of Robbers In Gorakhpur, Two Suspects In Custody

Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. There is a stir in the police department after the audacious robbery of Rs 84 lakh took place at the house of retired accountant Balendra Singh. A police team of four police stations under the leadership of CO Cantt has been deployed to expose this incident carried out by four unknown miscreants riding two bikes. The Crime Branch has detained two suspects for questioning, while continuous raids are being conducted in search of other possible accused.

Four police teams are scanning the footage of CC cameras of the entire area. Details of movement of people in Rajahi and surrounding areas during the last 24 hours are being collected. Special attention is being paid to the identification of suspicious bike riders, youths with their faces covered and people repeatedly seen roaming in the area.

Along with this, mobile tower dump has been taken as part of technical investigation, so that it can be found out which mobile numbers were active at the time of the incident and the location of which suspects were near the incident site. Police officials say that this robbery incident was completely planned and the miscreants had previously conducted recce of the area. On this basis, the police is also keeping an eye on those criminals who have recently been released from jail and have previously been involved in robbery cases.

ADG Zone Mutha Ashok and DIG Range Dr. S. Channappa met the victim's family on Tuesday and took information about the entire incident. Officials inspected the spot and instructed the police teams involved in the investigation to uncover the incident as soon as possible. People of Rajahi village in Dashhat: After the sensational incident that took place in Rajahi on Monday evening, the local people are worried about the security arrangements. The villagers say that there is a need for patrolling and monitoring in the residential areas. At present, the police have increased patrolling in the area and have given instructions to keep an eye on suspicious activities. Officials claim that the investigation is progressing in the right direction and with the help of technical evidence and ground information, this sensational robbery of Rs 84 lakh will soon be exposed.

Incident after Reiki: Police investigation has revealed that the miscreants had come to commit the crime after complete Reiki. At around 6:45 pm on Monday evening, all four miscreants who came on two bikes had their faces covered. He rang the call bell at the gate. Retired accountant Balendra Singh thought that a courier or milkman might have come. As soon as the gate was opened, a miscreant said that he had come to collect the money for cement. When Balendra Singh clearly said that there is no shop in his house and no such payment is made, then the miscreants attacked him on the head with the butt of the pistol and forcibly entered the house. The location of the robbers was found till Ramwapur village. The police has got an important clue in the case of robbery done by holding a retired accountant and his family hostage. During investigation, the location of the robbers has been traced to Ramwapur village of Pipraich. Earlier, both the miscreants riding a bike were seen in the CC camera installed on the road leading from Rajahi to Ramwapur village. The movement of the miscreants is being investigated on the basis of footage and mobile phone location.

The Crime Branch as well as the local police are investigating to identify the robbers. Many important clues have been found in the investigation so far. The criminals will soon be caught.
