Two friends Ankush Sharma and Rohit Kaushik, residents of Rohtas Nagar, were also seriously injured in this blast. On Wednesday, Shahdara District Magistrate SS Parihar, District Development Committee Chairman Jitendra Mahajan and Sub-Divisional Magistrate Tapan Jha visited the injured at their homes.
Officials inquired about his well-being and inquired about his treatment. About a month and a quarter after the incident, the Central District Police informed the administration in writing that the two injured people were residents of Shahdara district.
The injured said that they needed a wheelchair due to leg injuries. They face great difficulty in going to the hospital, where they have to wait in long lines for hours. He is being treated at AIIMS and IHBAS. Due to his injuries he has become unemployed and needs a job.
He has not yet received any financial help from the government. In this case, DM SS Parihar said that as soon as the Shahdara district administration got information about the injured, he went to meet them. They are preparing a report and sending it to the Central District. The injured will get compensation soon. DM SS Parihar also said that whenever the injured go to the hospital, Delhi Police personnel will accompany them. They will get treatment without standing in line.
The dates of operation and any health check-up should not be delayed. Chairman Jitendra Mahajan said the government stands with the families of those injured and killed in the blast. There will be no problem in their treatment. Councilors Ritesh Suji and Chandra Prakash were also present on this occasion.
