Sansu, Phaphamau (Prayagraj). The young son of a constable committed suicide by hanging himself across the Ganges. The incident occurred on Saturday morning in Phaphamau's Sizing Gali locality. The police reached the information and investigated. Suicide note was not found. The police have seized the youth's mobile phone.
24-year-old Vikas alias Vipin Dhuria, son of Rajesh, resident of Sizing Gali locality, went to sleep in his room on Friday night after having dinner with the family. When his door did not open in the morning, his family members called out, but still no response was received. When I looked through the window, he was hanging.
The family members hurriedly broke the door and brought Vikas down from the noose. By then he had died. He worked in a private job and was not married. Vikas's father Rajesh is working as a constable in the police department.
Acting Police Station President Phaphamau Kambod Singh Singh said that after investigation, the body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. No suicide note has been found from Vikas's room. His mobile has been seized for investigation.
