State Bureau, Chandigarh. In Haryana, 37 thousand youth have been given government jobs in the last one year. Recently, recruitment has been done on 12 thousand 500 posts, which will be filled soon with complete transparency. Youth of all sections are being given equal opportunities in jobs. Employment opportunities abroad are being provided legally through the Foreign Cooperation Department.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said in a program on Saturday that the new thinking and positive energy of the youth will give a new direction to the state and the country. Expressing concern over the current situation in Punjab, he said that the drug problem has increased seriously in the last few years, which has affected the young generation.
Keeping the youth away from drug addiction is the need of the hour and Bharatiya Janata Party is fully committed to their bright future. To increase awareness against drug addiction, programs like Cyclothon and Marathon are being organized in Haryana, in which a large number of youth are participating.
Strict action is being taken against people involved in illegal drug trade and their properties are also being attached. Special awareness campaigns are being run in universities and educational institutions.
On the increasing crimes in Punjab, the Chief Minister said that it will be our priority to ensure peace, security and stability by strengthening the law and order there. He alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party government has failed to fulfill its promises and the public is not seeing the expected results. Talking about the country, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has made remarkable progress and India's reputation has been strengthened at the global level.
In the infrastructure sector, expansion of roads, national highways and connectivity has given new impetus to development. Central Government's initiatives like Mudra Yojana, Startup India, Make in India and Stand Up India have provided self-employment opportunities to the youth. Haryana Government has also provided government jobs through a transparent process without any expense and without any slip.
The Chief Minister said that in the field of sports, players of Haryana have brought glory to the country in various competitions including Olympics, Paralympics and Asian Games. To encourage the players, cash prize money worth crores of rupees is being provided by the government. The aim of the government is to take the state and the country to new heights of development by empowering the youth.
