Policeman's son dies after swallowing a piece of balloon while playing.
Samvad Sutra, Pali (Hardoi). A child lost his life while playing. The son of a Badaun district constable posted at Pali police station swallowed a piece of balloon while playing with his cousin on Friday morning. The child died after a piece of balloon got stuck in his windpipe. Crying relatives took the child's body to Badaun.
Tuti Singh of village Firozpur Jashrathpur of Bisauli police station of Badaun is a lawyer in Pali police station. He lives with his family in a house built in the police station premises. On Friday morning Titu Singh's wife was busy with household work. His eight-year-old son Suryansh was playing with balloons with his cousin.
My cousin sister inflated the piece of burst balloon and gave it to Suryansh. When Suryansh burst the balloon by pressing it with his teeth, a piece of the balloon went inside the mouth and got stuck in the windpipe. Within some time, Suryansh started having trouble breathing.
My cousin sister took Suryansh to the child's mother. When he was unconscious, his relatives hurriedly took him to the PHC. The doctor somehow removed the piece of balloon.
Suryansh had died before this. The relatives took the dead body to Badaun. Police station in-charge Sompal Gangwar said that it has come to light that the child died due to swallowing a piece of balloon while playing.
Suryansh was late in reaching the hospital
PHC in-charge Dr. Anand Shukla told that the child had swallowed a piece of the balloon. It went through the throat and got stuck in the windpipe. The child had died about 20 minutes before the PHC arrived. If the child had been brought immediately, perhaps his life could have been saved.
Told that if the child swallows any such thing, then first try to remove it by putting a finger in the throat and immediately take him to the doctor, so that the life of the child can be saved.
