Jagran correspondent, Sahibabad. Pollution levels are declining only as wind speed increases. Whereas the responsible officials are not able to provide relief from pollution. Even on Sunday, pollution declined as wind speed increased. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the AQI of the district was recorded at 283 in the poor category. However, as the air is still in the poor category, people are not relieved from the poisonous air.

According to CPCB, the AQI of the district was recorded at 351 on Saturday. On Sunday, the average wind speed was 14 kilometers per hour and the gust was 29 kilometers per hour. Due to this, the AQI of the district has declined by 68 points.

This has certainly brought some relief to the people, but the air still remains in the poor category. There was also fog in the atmosphere. Officials say that with the increase in wind speed, the humidity in the weather is also less. The level of air pollution due to dust blowing has declined. Further decline is expected.
