State Bureau, Patna. Many questions regarding starting degree colleges in the blocks reached the Education Minister in the Assembly on Tuesday. The Education Minister said that there are preparations to open degree colleges at 213 places in a phased manner.
Kesariya MLA Shalini Mishra said that as per the declared policy of the government, degree colleges are to be established in every block. Degree colleges have not yet been established in Kesariya and Sangrampur blocks of East Champaran. Kalyanpur MLA Sachindra Prasad Singh also raised the issue of degree college.
He said that there is not a single government degree college in Kalyanpur and Kotwa blocks of East Champaran. Dinara MLA Alok Kumar Singh also raised the issue of opening of degree college.
He said that at present there is not a single government degree college in Dinara assembly constituency of Rohtas district. Nathnagar MLA Mithun Kumar also raised the issue of degree college. He said that there is not a single degree college in Jagdishpur block of Bhagalpur district.
