The Election Department is busy finalizing its preparations for the Panchayat elections. As soon as the voter forms are printed, they have been kept under security in the strong room. Ballot boxes have also arrived and they have been kept in the store room of the government school.
The amount to be spent on candidates' security and campaign has also been announced. 1510 BLOs have completed the work of preparing voter list. Compared to last time, this time the number of voters has increased by three lakh 29 thousand two hundred 72.
This time 21 lakh 44 thousand 942 voters will vote in the Panchayat elections. In which 18 blocks include 127114 in Unchahar, 86682 in Deen Shah Gaura, 95467 in Chhatoh, 107809 in Dih, 177947 in Salen, 156349 in Sareni, 124945 in Sataon, 114260 in Harchandpur, 1140089 in Lalganj, 113403 voters have been made in Maharajganj, 133616 in Kheeron, 162468 in Rahi, 111943 in Amawan, 75538 in Jagatpur, 126531 in Bachhrawan, 80877 in Shivgarh, 61149 in Rohaniya and 148755 in Dalmau.
There has been an increase of about six percent voters in all the blocks. The list will be published very soon.
