Principal of Pratapgarh Medical College passes away.

Samvad Sutra, Pratapgarh. Dr. Saroj Prasad, Principal of Dr. Sone Lal Patel Autonomous Medical College, who was undergoing treatment for liver, died at Max Hospital Lucknow on Tuesday at around 2.30 pm. He was 55 years old. The Medical College and Raja Pratap Bahadur Hospital were in mourning due to his death.

Dr. Saroj Prasad, originally from Vaishali district of Bihar, was suffering from liver disease for a long time. On December 19, he had a meeting with CMS and the doctor.

The next day on 20th December, he handed over the charge of the Medical College to Dr. Somnath and went on leave. He was admitted to Max Hospital in Lucknow two days ago when his condition suddenly worsened.

Dr. Saroj Prasad was the head of the department of anatomy in the medical college. Earlier he was the Vice Principal of the Medical College. He leaves behind his wife Rekha Devi and eight-year-old son. After the transfer of Dr. VK Pandey, who was the Principal of the Medical College, the government made him the Principal of the Medical College.

Principal in-charge of the Medical College, Dr. Somnath told that he was suffering from liver disease for a long time. On his death, a condolence meeting was held at Raja Pratap Bahadur Hospital.

During this, CMS Dr. Shailendra Kushwaha of Raja Pratap Bahadur Hospital, CMS Dr. RK Pandey of Women's Hospital, Dr. Manoj Khatri, Dr. Avantika Pandey, Dr. RP Choubey, Dr. KK Tiwari, Dr. Atul Saroj, Vijay Yadav, Vijay Singh, Vineet etc. have expressed deep grief.
