Youth dies due to Russell viper bite in Purnaya.
Communication Assistant, Kasba (Purnia). In Purnia, playing with a four feet long Russell Viper snake cost a person dearly. He died due to snake bite. The entire village is shocked by the incident. The incident took place in Murdbagh village of Kasba block. Mohd., resident of this place. Shamsher (40) was openly showing off among the people by holding a Russell Viper snake. According to eyewitnesses, Shamsher was swinging the snake vigorously, sometimes with one hand and sometimes with both hands. Seeing this dangerous scene, the villagers tried repeatedly to stop him, but he did not listen to anyone.
Meanwhile, suddenly the Russell Viper came out of his hand and within a moment it bit Shamsher. The surprising thing was that even after being bitten by the snake, Shamsher caught it again. Within a short time, the effects of the poison became visible and his condition started deteriorating. Panicked relatives and villagers hurriedly took him to Kasba Community Health Centre. Treatment was started in the hospital, but by then it was too late.
Despite the efforts of the doctors, Mohd. Shamsher could not be saved and died during treatment. As soon as the news of the incident spread, mourning spread in the village. A video of this entire incident is being rapidly circulated on the internet media, in which Shamsher can be clearly seen playing with the Russell Viper. After the video surfaced, people are calling it the result of negligence.
