The wife of deceased Pradeep Singh Parihar conspired with her lover to commit murder and got her husband killed. The killer Ramtirtha was caught by the local people and handed over to the police. Along with him, Pooja was also sent to jail.
32 year old Pradeep Singh Parihar was brutally murdered in a game of love, hate and greed. He was first given alcohol to drink. As soon as he got drunk, he was made to sit on a bike and then his throat was slit.
According to PGI Inspector Dhirendra Singh, deceased Pradeep was originally a resident of Amauli Thakuran of Rura police station area of Kanpur Dehat. He was working in a gas agency in Kamta. His 28-year-old wife Pooja Singh was an attendant in a private hospital in the PGI area.
Pooja was living on rent in Sandeep Pal's house in Uttaretiya since November, Pradeep used to come there only occasionally. During this time, Pooja had a love affair with Ramtirth Maurya of Haveli village in Mohanganj police station area of Amethi, who lived in the same house. To get rid of their husband, both of them conspired to commit murder.
On the day of the incident, Ramteerth first made Pradeep drink heavily and then took him on a bike to a deserted area. Pradeep urinated near Chiraiyabagh bridge. As soon as he returned and started sitting behind the bike, the accused said, now you ride the bike. As soon as Pradeep started starting the bike, Ramtirth sitting behind took out a pocket knife and slit his throat.
The attack was so sudden that Pradeep could not even recover and he died on the spot. As soon as the information was received, the deceased's wife Pooja also reached the spot and was crying bitterly, while Ramtirtha, who was running away after committing the murder, was caught by the local people and handed over to the police.
Distance between husband and wife increased due to alcohol addiction
During interrogation, Pooja, accused of conspiracy to murder, told that her husband Pradeep was addicted to drinking alcohol. He tried many times to give up alcohol, but failed. Because of this, there were fights between the two every day and their relationship deteriorated. During her stay in Uttaratiya, Pooja grew closer to Ramtirtha. Due to Pradeep's infrequent visits, Ramtirtha used to come and go to Pooja throughout the day. Physical relations developed between the two and gradually a plan was prepared to remove Pradeep from the way.
Information about returning from Kanpur
Pooja had informed Ramtirtha on Tuesday morning about Pradeep's return from Kanpur. Ramteerth asked about the murder over the phone, to which Pooja said, do whatever feels right, I just want to be with you.
The shadow of the father lifted from the heads of three innocent children
Inspector Dhirendra Singh told that Pradeep was married to Pooja of Bachhrawan of Rae Bareli in the year 2015. Their three children Tanya, nine years old, Pihu six years old and Rudra four years old, live with their grandparents in the village. As soon as the truth of father's murder and mother's conspiracy came to light, the entire family including the children was devastated. The wife and child of accused Ramtirtha also live in the village, whose life has also come under question after this incident.
Both accused sent to jail
Police have arrested the deceased's wife Pooja Singh and her lover Ramtirth Maurya. During interrogation, both of them confessed to the conspiracy of murder. A case was registered against the accused under serious sections of BNS and after presenting them in the court, they were sent to jail.
