During this time, many politicians and officials are reaching here by private jets, which spread 10 times more pollution. Now this has become a matter of debate.
Greenpeace protests against pollution from private jets in Davos
Greenpeace activists are opposing this. According to them, last year the movement of private flights at 7 airports around Davos had increased by 3 times in 3 years.
Private flights to the 2025 conference were 709 more than usual. This number was 628 in 2024 and only 227 in 2023.
