Solar CCTV Installed In All 87 Cowsheds Of Ayodhya, 24 Hours Live Monitoring Will Be Done From Vikas Bhawan.

Now 24 hour solar CCTV monitoring in cowsheds

Digital Desk, Ayodhya. As per the intention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, an important step has been taken in Ayodhya district towards protection of destitute cattle and strengthening the arrangements at cow shelter sites. Now 24-hour monitoring has been ensured through Wi-Fi, solar and SIM based CCTV cameras in all 87 cow-shelter sites of the district.

Two cameras have been installed at each cow shelter. One camera has been installed at the entrance, so that the incoming and outgoing activities can be monitored, while the other camera has been installed inside the cow shed, through which the condition of the cows, chaff, green fodder, water, cleanliness and other arrangements are being monitored.

Uninterrupted surveillance through solar and SIM based cameras

Since the cameras are solar based, they are charged by sunlight and work continuously without any power interruption. Due to Wi-Fi and SIM based system, live streaming can be easily watched from anywhere through mobile phone and app. All the cameras have been installed from Gram Panchayat funds.

Monitoring from control room in Vikas Bhawan

A central control room has been operated in Ayodhya Vikas Bhawan to monitor all the 87 cow shelter sites. Here, different groups of 11 development blocks are formed and the live status of four cameras each is seen on the television screen at a time. The staff posted in the control room continuously monitor all the cow shelters by turns and if any deficiency is found, immediate remedial action is ensured.

Key Features of Camera System

The CCTV cameras are equipped with 360 degree rotation capability, allowing monitoring of areas inside and around the cow shed. Activities are automatically detected through smart detection sensitivity. Human detection and smart tracking identifies caretaker and other human activities and saves notifications and clips in cloud storage.

The detection area setting allows monitoring of soundings, seating areas, cleanliness and chaff storage. Siren setting is helpful in preventing undesirable activities. Night vision mode provides clear view even at night, thereby preventing incidents of theft and straying of cattle. Through the device call facility, one can also communicate directly with the people present in the Gaushala from the app.

Significant improvement in care

Through this system, the deficiencies found in the cowsheds are being revealed immediately. By ensuring timely availability of chaff, green fodder, water and other facilities, there has been significant improvement in the safety, cleanliness and care of cattle.

Increased transparency in cow shelters due to CCTV monitoring

Chief Development Officer Krishna Kumar Singh said that so far 14 thousand 800 destitute cows have been protected in 87 cow shelter sites of the district. He said that CCTV based surveillance system has increased transparency and cow shelter arrangements have become more effective and reliable than before.

With the centralized operation of solar based SIM CCTV system, monitoring of all cow shelters in Ayodhya has become more transparent, safe and efficient. Due to this, the system of protection of destitute cattle has been strengthened and the entire system has now become more strong and reliable.
