State Bureau, Patna. In Uttarakhand, RJD's women's cell took out a protest march on Saturday in protest against the shameful remarks made by BJP leader Girdhari Lal Sahu on the women of Bihar.
The march from the party's state office ended with the burning of the effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Income Tax Golambar. State President of Women's Cell, Anita Bharti led the way.
Why insult the women of Bihar, Narendra Modi should answer, Nitin Nabeen should answer, Bihar will not tolerate insult to women, anti-women BJP, hi-hi etc. RJD's male officials and workers also reached there to raise slogans.
State spokesperson Ajaz Ahmed said that at the beginning of the protest, State President Manganilal Mandal raised questions on the silence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on this issue.
He said that it is clear from the silence of top BJP leaders that BJP is encouraging Girdhari, otherwise such statements would not have been promoted in that party.
Anita Bharti demanded the ouster of Girdhari from the party and the dismissal of his wife Rekha Arya (minister in Uttarakhand). He said that BJP working president Nitin Nabin should take action on this issue especially because he is from Bihar.
Mukund Singh, Sarika Paswan, Abha Lata Yadav, Prof. Geeta Yadav, Sunita Kushwaha, Pooja Yadav, Meena Rai, Sneha Rani Suchitra Chaudhary, Vijayalakshmi, Gudiya Yadav, Sandhya Rai, Geeta Kumari, Ritu, Priya Chaudhary, Naseem Jamal, Neetu Kumari etc. along with Pramod Kumar Sinha, Kumar Rai, Upendra Chandravanshi, Ganesh Kumar Yadav, Vinod Kumar Yadav etc. participated in the protest.
