Digital Desk, New Delhi. During the budget session on Wednesday, Lok Sabha proceedings were repeatedly disrupted amid uproar and finally the proceedings were adjourned till 11 am on Thursday. Meanwhile, there were indications that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would reply to the motion of thanks on the President's address in the evening, but this could not happen due to the uproar.
When Lok Sabha proceedings resumed at 5 pm, BJP MP PP Choudhary stood up to speak on the motion. Meanwhile, opposition MPs started raising slogans. Sandhya Rai, sitting on the Speaker's chair, adjourned the House for the day within a few minutes.
Rahul-Priyanka target PM Modi
After the Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi posted on social media platform X saying that as he had said earlier, Prime Minister Modi will not come to Parliament because he is afraid to face the truth.
Along with Rahul, his sister and Congress MP from Wayanad Priyanka Gandhi also gave a statement. He said that PM Modi is scared. Priyanka made this comment after the adjournment of the Lok Sabha proceedings.
