Route of Kosi Express 18625 changed, train will not go to Patna for 45 days
Samvad Sutra, Saharsa. East Central Railway 18625 Kosi Express train running between Patna-Hatiya via Purnia Court via Saharsa will no longer go to Patna station. From 5 February 26, Railways has changed the route operation of this train. Due to which now Kosi Express train will run according to the changed divert route after Bakhtiyarpur. Due to which now Kosi Express train will not stop at Patna.
Due to this, local railway passengers will have to face a lot of trouble. Due to the reconstruction work being done on platform numbers two and three of Gaya station, Railways has also made changes in the routes of many other trains running in Gaya railway section including Kosi Express.
Rail operations were stopped on this route from Patna to Gaya. The train is being operated from another route. Railways has decided the route in this regard. According to which Kosi Express will go till Bakhtiyarpur as per its old scheduled route. After this, the second route from Bakhtiyarpur station via Rajgir, Tilaiya, Paymar stations will reach Bandhua station and directly reach Tankuppa station.
After this, Hatia will pass through other designated stations. In return also, the route of 18626 Kosi Express Hatia – Purnia Court will remain the same. This route change will last from February 5 to March 21, 26. Kosi Express will not go via Patna-Gaya for 45 days.
The daily Kosi Express train will run as per the old route till Bakhtiyarpur from Thursday itself. After this, the route will be diverted and the movement will take another route. After leaving Bakhtiyarpur station, Kosi Express will not go through Khusropur, Fatuha, Patna Sahib, Rajendra Nagar, Patna, Punpun, Terangana, Jehanabad, Bela, Gaya stations. It will not pass through ten stations and will go and come only through another diverted route.
The route of Kosi Express train will remain the same in return also. Due to change in route in the operation of Kosi Express train, problems of the people will increase. Now the passengers going to Patna will have to depend only on Rajyarani Express train.
