On Tuesday night, due to labor pain, the woman gave birth on the way while being taken in the bullock cart and became unconscious. The relative showed wisdom and protected the bullock cart from the cold wind by placing a curtain of saree around it. Both mother and child are healthy and safe.
This incident once again exposed the system of the district. Similarly, three days ago, Manisha, wife of Lalram, a resident of Dera Parsadwa, also took the newborn child to the hospital on foot for three kilometers on February 2 when his health deteriorated.
On October 26, 2025, in the camp of Majra Parsadwa, which has a population of about 500, in Gram Panchayat Chhani Gaughat of the Maudaha development block area, a delivery victim was taken to the hospital by bullock cart as an ambulance could not reach her. On Tuesday night, Renu, wife of Dera resident Hariram, started having labor pains. Efforts were started to take him to the hospital, but due to rain the relatives appeared worried. Due to this, ambulance is not able to reach the camp.
After this, the relatives left the house in a bullock cart to take the pregnant woman to the health center in Sisolar. Amidst the bad weather and rain, at around 11:30 in the night, the relatives looked helpless when the mother gave birth to the child in the bullock cart and fainted in pain. After a long time, the woman regained consciousness after being sprinkled with water. After this the relatives took him back home.
Due to this, there was a stir among the people of Dera and they were seen cursing the poor system of administration. The woman's father-in-law Krishna Kumar told that his younger daughter-in-law has given birth to her first child. On Wednesday morning, Asha workers reached the camp and inquired about the well-being of the mother and child. Village head Rakesh Pal said that one has to face problems due to the road being unpaved. After the incident in October, the administration has started constructing the road. Work is stopped due to rain since last two days.
