State Bureau, Lucknow. On Wednesday, there was a huge uproar over the issue of not following reservation in recruitment. There was a lot of heated exchange between the opposition and the ruling party. Raising the issue, SP members stopped work and demanded discussion. Accused the government of theft in reservation. When Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya was replying, SP members came in front of the Speaker's chair and raised slogans. Then walked out.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the government will not allow any kind of tampering with the rights of backward people. He clearly said that any kind of irregularities in reservation will not be tolerated and if any officer is found guilty, strict action will be taken against him. In the SP government, reservation was limited to only one caste. After the Bihar elections, the mental balance of the SP chief has deteriorated. SP leaders including Akhilesh Yadav should get treatment from good doctors.
Leader of Opposition Lal Bihari Yadav and other SP members proposed a discussion on the issue. Referring to the paper leak cases, SP member Kiranpal Kashyap said that there are so many holes in the system that even the ruling party would feel embarrassed. The government does not want unemployed graduates to get employment.
Leader of Opposition said that reservation is being strangled at the instigation of the government. Why is no action being taken against officials who advertise wrong reservations? The Deputy Chief Minister said that from 2012 to 2017, SP had ruined the state and left it. You prepared the copying mafia and recruitment mafia gang.
OBC reservation does not mean only one caste. Today they are casteists and are not in favor of social justice. You have lost the trust of the public. We will continue by giving reservation for one post each. In your government, only one caste was given benefits by adding a thorn in the reservation of backward classes. Yours is casteist, family based politics. The government has taken action in the accountant recruitment case. Like their fake PDA, like their fake issues.
Whereas SP member Ashutosh Sharma raised the question of employment available in job fairs. There was a debate between the ruling party and the opposition. The Leader of Opposition raised the question of making the centers of competitive examinations far away. On this, the Deputy Chief Minister talked about taking steps to establish centers in every district.
SP member Mukul Yadav asked a question regarding the purchase of paddy in the sub-market of Karhal tehsil of Mainpuri. Chairman Kunwar Manvendra Singh gave instructions to conduct investigation in this matter. Teacher group member Dhruv Kumar Tripathi demanded to stop work and discuss the matter of creation of posts of officers and employees in the offices of Secondary Education Department in Devipatan, Chitrakoot and Aligarh divisions.
Minister of State for Secondary Education (Independent Charge) Gulab Devi said that the action for creation of the post is in the process. The Deputy Chief Minister held a meeting with everyone in the matter and assured to solve the problem. Dhruv Kumar Tripathi raised the issue of not giving the benefit of the Government Order dated 28 June 2024 by the officials of the Secondary Education Department. The Chairman directed to resolve this matter within a month.
The government will also provide reservation in contracts and outsourcing. The Deputy Chief Minister said that not a single post will be allowed to be stolen in reservation. The government is going to provide reservation not only in government jobs but also in contractual and outsourcing arrangements.
