Jagran correspondent, Ludhiana. There is a possibility of dense fog in some parts of Punjab for the next four days. A yellow alert has been issued regarding the weather till January 21. Earlier on Saturday, there was fog in various districts of Punjab in the morning. At the same time, the sun also came out during the day.

There was definitely some respite from the cold on this day. The highest day temperature of 22.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in district Rupnagar. After this, the temperature of Mansa was 22.2 degrees Celsius, the day temperature in district Ludhiana was 22 degrees Celsius, the temperature of Faridkot and Hoshiarpur districts was 21.4 degrees Celsius respectively, the temperature of Pathankot was 20.6 degrees Celsius, the temperature of Patial was 20.1 degrees Celsius.

At the same time, the minimum temperature of Amritsar was recorded at 4.4 degrees Celsius, Bathinda and Gurdaspur's temperature was 5 degrees Celsius respectively, Faridkot's 5.5 degrees Celsius, SBS Nagar's 5.7 degrees Celsius, Ludhiana's temperature was 6.5 degrees Celsius.

The average temperature of the state has increased by 3.8 degrees Celsius in 24 hours, which is close to normal. According to the forecast of Meteorological Center Chandigarh, yellow weather alert will continue till January 21. There is a possibility of dense fog in some parts of the state.
