Safe Travel In Fog: New Rule For Roadways Buses In Ghaziabad, Only Experienced Drivers Will Drive Buses At Night.

Jagran correspondent, Sahibabad. Only accident-free drivers will be able to operate roadways buses at night. For this, Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has issued orders to the Assistant Regional Managers of all the depots. Drivers who have had incidents while operating buses will not be deployed on roadways buses at night.

There are a total of 895 buses of the Transport Corporation in Sahibabad, Kaushambi, Loni, Hapur, Khurja, Bulandshahr and Secunderabad depots of Ghaziabad region. Till now there were no rules regarding day and night for the drivers posted on these buses.

Due to the continuously increasing fog, the Transport Corporation has given instructions to take precautions. It has been asked to deploy such drivers on the buses operating at night who have not had any road accident nor have there been any complaints about driving over speed buses.

Assistant regional managers of all the depots have started preparing the list of drivers. Everyone will be deployed as per rules in the next two days.

Drivers are being given training

Drivers are also being trained to operate buses better in fog. In this, drivers are being told not to operate the bus at over speed. If there is heavy fog, pull the bus off the road and park it. Do not park the bus on highways and expressways. Officials say that if any kind of negligence comes to light, strict action will be taken.

A list of accident free drivers is being prepared and deployed. Strict action will be taken against negligence in operating the bus in fog. It is mandatory to follow the orders of the headquarters.
