Digital Desk, New Delhi. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan listened intently to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's address on the first day of the two-day lecture series held at Nehru Center in Mumbai. More than 900 prominent personalities including Ranbir Kapoor, Subhash Ghai, Prasoon Joshi were present in the program.

During the speech, Mohan Bhagwat gave the example of Salman Khan while discussing social impact and values. He said that college students copy Salman's fashion style, but did not give the reason. Bhagwat linked this to the need to make good values ​​fashionable.

Mohan Bhagwat emphasized on "swadeshi" economic model. He said global interdependence is real, but it should not be done by compulsion or tariff pressure. Emphasized on giving priority to local products, limiting imports and self-reliance. Example: "Why Cola if you can make Shikanji?"

Appealed to the families to adopt Swadeshi in language, dress, food, tourism and domestic life. Speak Indian languages, wear traditional clothes, visit tourist places in the country and reduce plastic. “Produce in India, innovate and let the world come to you,” he said.

Apart from Salman Khan, many artists, scientists and industrialists including Ranbir Kapoor, Hema Malini, Anuradha Paudwal, Poonam Dhillon participated in the program. It focused on reflection on the 100-year journey of the RSS and its future direction.
