Communication Assistant, Teghra (Begusarai). Taking major action in Teghra police station area, the police arrested the absconding accused of black marketing of government grains and embezzlement of lakhs of rupees from his own house.
He was underground in his house. The police caught the accused from the tank-like basement of the toilet built in the house, which people were surprised to see. The arrested accused has been identified as 50-year-old Tripurari Kumar, resident of ward number six of Barauni-2 Panchayat.
He is also known as Natwarlal in the area. In this regard, Teghra DSP Krishna Kumar said that on the application of Shishir Kumar, resident of Desari Ghazipur in Vaishali district, who is currently working as a supply inspector in Teghra, an FIR was registered against the accused.
There is an allegation of black marketing of rice and wheat
During investigation, it became clear that Tripurari Kumar fraudulently black-marketed 128.97 quintals of government wheat and rice and embezzled an amount of more than Rs 37 lakh 50 thousand.
DSP said that the accused in Teghra police station case number 256/24 was absconding for a long time and continuous raids were being conducted for his arrest.
In this sequence, the police got secret information. After this, a raid was conducted at his residence with the help of Teghra police station officer Manish Kumar and other police forces. He was not found anywhere in the house, then the police looked at the basement.
During the raid, the accused was found hiding in about 20 feet deep basement of the house, from where he was arrested. According to the police, many criminal cases are already registered against the arrested accused.
After the arrest, there is talk in the area that the accused was absconding with huge amount of money from many people. After completing the legal process on Sunday, the accused was sent to Begusarai jail.
