CM Nitish Kumar will gift 188 schemes worth Rs 827 crore to Samastipur (PTI)
Jagran correspondent, Samastipur. The Chief Minister will visit the district on Thursday as part of Samriddhi Yatra. During this period, he will gift 188 schemes to the people of the district. In this, he will lay the foundation stone of 71 schemes, while 74 will be inaugurated and work on 43 will begin. The cost of these schemes will be Rs 827 crore. The Chief Minister will first go to the Engineering College located at Narghoghi in Sarayaranjan block. From there he will present the schemes to the residents of the district.
Necessary preparations are being made for the arrival of the Chief Minister in the college campus. The work of installing foundation stones etc. of the schemes has been started. Where exhibitions of various departments will also be organized. It was told that stalls of 20 different departments are being set up in the college campus. In this, information about the schemes of the concerned department will be given.
While observing this, the Chief Minister will talk to the officers and personnel present at the stall and get information about the work being done. We will also see the innovations made in the college. After the entertainment program is over, he will leave for Jitwarpur by helicopter. From there he will go to Hakimabad to inspect the bridge being built on the Budhi Gandak river.
After this, he will hold a meeting with the officials in the pandal built in the Housing Board grounds. Will review the schemes related to seven determinations. Also, we will get complete information about the progress of the schemes announced during Pragati Yatra. Will address the public meeting later.
Foundation stone of 40 schemes of Panchayati Raj will be laid:
The foundation stone of 71 schemes is to be laid by the Chief Minister. Of these, 40 schemes are of Panchayati Raj Department only. Its estimated amount is Rs 103 crore.
Apart from this, 13 of building construction cum rural development, 4 of water resources, building construction cum engineering. Caste Anu. This includes 1 building of Tribal Welfare Department, 3 of Rural Works Department, 1 of Building Construction cum Co-operation Department, 3 of Education Department, 4 of Police Construction Corporation, 1 of Food and Civil Supplies and 1 building of General Administration Department.
Apart from this, the inaugurated schemes include 2 Rural Development, Building Construction cum Rs. Caste Anu. 2 schemes of Tribal Welfare Department, 1 of Bridge Construction Corporation, 30 of Building Construction Panchayati Raj, 2 of Building Construction Co-operation Department, 9 of Education, 11 of Local Area Engineering, 5 of Police Building Construction Corporation, 1 of Sports Department, 1 of Minority, 10 schemes of Health Department are included.
The work of 43 schemes will be started by the Chief Minister. All these schemes are of Rural Development Department. Its estimated amount will be Rs 84 crore.
The Chief Minister's visit is proposed on 29 January. The Chief Minister will gift schemes worth more than Rs 800 crore to the district. There will be a review meeting of the works related to seven decisions. We will also look at the work done at the ground level under Pragati Yatra schemes.
