The accident took place near Nandlal Singh College, West Rakshabraham, in Daudpur police station area. The collision was so severe that the ambulance was badly damaged and the son of the deceased was seriously injured. After the incident, the body was sent to Siwan in another ambulance.

According to the information received, Chhathu Prasad, resident of Barram village of Siwan district, was undergoing treatment in Patna. He died during treatment. After this, his son Abhay Kumar was returning to the village with his father's body in an ambulance. Meanwhile, near Rakshabrahma on NH-531, a truck coming from the front hit the ambulance hard.
Ambulance damaged in collision, son seriously injured
According to eyewitnesses, there was chaos at the spot after the accident. As soon as the collision occurred, the ambulance went to the roadside. Abhay Kumar was seriously injured in this accident. Local people immediately informed the police and helped take the injured to the hospital.
Police arrived, admitted to health center
As soon as the information was received, Daudpur police station reached the spot and injured Abhay Kumar was admitted to Daudpur Health Center. After first aid, seeing his condition serious, the doctors referred him to Chhapra Sadar Hospital.
Driver absconding, police engaged in search
It is being told that after the accident, the truck driver and ambulance driver fled from the spot. The police have taken possession of the damaged ambulance and started investigating the matter. Efforts are being made to identify and arrest the absconding drivers.
